Keep It Smooth!

The beginning of summer can be a time of high sun, humidity and wind.  Here are a few tips for creating (and keeping!) that smooth style all day long.

• When blowdrying, use warm air to dry and shape your hair.  When your style is formed, go over your hair with the cool button on your blowdryer.  This helps to seal down the cuticle of the hair, and lock in smoothness and shine.

• Keeping plenty of moisture in your hair is a vital key to keeping it smooth and sleek.  Conditioning in the shower and before styling can give hair the moisture boost it needs.  Try the Signature Moirsture Masque from Oribe!

• You can fight frizz even in the shower!  Kerastase offers an entire line of products, called Oleo Relax, which help to tame frizz and smooth curl.  This line has shampoo, conditioner, and styling products.  Oribe also makes a shampoo and conditioner for Moisture & Control, which will tame those frizzies and volume.
